THE BRIEF ...

With the launch of their new 100" TV, SONY BRAVIA was looking to make waves in the market, establishing themselves as the ultimate television for at-home movie watching.  yada yada was brought into the mix alongside agency partner AKQA, working with their Tokyo, Paris, and Copenhagen teams, and OH YEAH...the greatest superhero of all time - Spiderman 🤘🏼🕸️

PHASE ONE
"THE LOST BRAVIA"

To make a splash in the US market, Sony opted to launch this campaign in Spiderman's hometown - New York City.   yada yada's team captured all motion and still photography assets and then partnered with the Sony Animation team responsible for the award winning Spider-Verse films to incorporate the legendary Miles Morales into our footage. 

 

With our final assets at-the-ready, we launched a multi-day 360 campaign, partnering with local influencers and celebrities to create buzz around a Sony Bravia Television "stolen" by NYC Porch Pirates.

Our assets launched on Sony's main Instagram account, were reposted across 25 Sony Channels (covering Europe, Middle East, Africa, and APAC markets), and were also paid collab posts with 4 NYC influencers / celebrities.  

The films and stills tell the story of a Sony Bravia TV being stolen from our hero celebrity's front door, to have his cry for help answered by the one & only, Miles Morales.

PHASE TWO
THE STUNT - A.K.A. CINEMA IS HOME

With people in NYC (and around the world) following along on our Bravia's journey, we teased the coordinates of something big - and by that we mean HUGE!  Sony posted a quick teaser animation, providing map coordinates that lead folks straight into our web.  

yada yada collaborated with our friends at 11th Street Workshop to design a multi-story, 1.5 TON, replica of Miles Morale's Spider-Man logo, complete with our 100" Sony Bravia Television box, finally returning home.

When fans showed up (and they SHOWED UP!), they were able to grab photos with the sculpture and were invited to post to their socials for a chance to win a Sony Bravia TV.

To wrap it all up, we created the SONY ONE asset, which recapped our week long journey in NYC.  This asset was shared on all of Sony's social channels, inviting guests to see a comprehensive recap of our Bravia's journey home 🕸️
